Nothing impacts our hero except kryptonite (g).

I don't know all the details. I would guess that a lot more financial firms are now in play. So I'd expect to see some speculation in that area.

I don't see too much effect on Berkshire though. I think the insurance arm can compete with anyone. If anything, Warren will turn it into a positive even if I can't figure out how. That's part of the reason I'm invested there. I can't go to the hoop like Michael Jordan either but I can recognize his greatness.

Maybe it will put my other insurance holding (mercury general) in play.
