You're right...and wrong. Actually, it was not JUST MSCO fault. The mms saw an opportunity to dump or short and make a fast 70 points. So did some of the funds who were allowed shares or the opportunity to short. The only ones unable to win here were the retail investors who had no idea carnage like this was possible and were unable to short. They were the ones buying in the 200s and selling in the 190s. Talk about an ambush!
