HB; Well it's worth watching for, but I'm not betting on it yet
I will try to screen some "true" small cap funds that have been
in the garbage for a while and see if their navs make a turn up.
---------------
All eyes are on the fund winners..but at times like this the
winners may have to re-allocate their portfolios, in so doing
if they pick up some small float stocks that they can run
up they window dress their Navs..but the second effect is the
small cap funds who every one has abandoned suddenly find
their holdings going up in value even though they don't have
the cash to buy with. That cycle happens from time to time
and about the time CNBC starts catching onto and pounding
the drums it it's about half over.
Will this happen, well I'm sure it will as it has in the past
but when it will happen I have no idea , but I think
it's time to start screening the "true" small caps funds
and watching for some spikes.
I don't advise jumping into picking the stocks, as the ones
that will run will not do it so much on earnings , it will
stay a Mo Mo market but maybe just shift it's focus some.
These things are often bought/sold via a pow wow with fraterity
brothers who will help with the Mo Mo..and can be trusted
not to jump ship ahead of the signal.
ie the frat brothers all dump at the same time, they sell calls
and buy puts in advance. It takes to much time for any
one person to track very many stocks, the way they need to
be tracked so I just mostly watch the funds.

I'll PM you one I saw today.
