<<how is wireless different than broadband? transmission by satelitte? eom >>

Well, without looking at things in a real technical manner....they are not very different. Both are High Speed Access, which is the point I was referring to.

I was responding to a post that asked how a deal with excite/athm and msft, would effect aol. My point was simply that the future was wireless, and aol was ahead of the pack in this dept. A deal with msft and athm will hurt aol short term, not not long term. One way or the other, AOL will offer Broadband cable, whther it's thru T, or other companies. Additionally, they will offer wireless. And I do feel the Gov't will force open access...especially so if MSFT gets involved with T. The justice dept is already on them....if they hook up, I think it will certainly force the open access issue.
