IMHO, the weakness in CSCO could stem from a possible slowdown due to Y2K spending and not an upcoming earnings announcement. News regarding this could drop on Nov. 9 along with their earnings ala IBM scenario.

but CSCO? the masters of the universe? now that would be a shocker
