Duff & Phelps bullish on India over glimpse of political stability DUFF & Phelps (DCR) is bullish on the Indian economy. In its Economy Update released on Thursday, DCR India has noted that the simple majority secured by the BJP-led alliance in the recent parliamentary elections is likely to lend stability to the government at the Centre. This follows DCR USA's observation that a stable coalition government would be able to focus more on correcting fiscal imbalances than on political manoeuvring. (ET-10/22/99)
