Hard to disagree?

Similarly, the international community, specifically the West, is hesitant to condemn Russia?s war in Chechnya. The United States is wary of making a statement that would shift Russian support to an undesirable party, especially with both the Duma and presidential elections so close at hand. Since there is no U.S.-backed candidate who has a chance at winning, the United States will push for a peaceful solution and hope the war ends quietly and quickly.

There is one condition, however, that could alter the U.S. stance on the war. If the Western press finds and reports atrocities powerful enough to ignite public awareness and support, the United States will be unable to avoid issuing a strong condemnation of Russia?s behavior.

jbe(Aksaka! gg) No i have no interest in Cossacks! I have interest in Caucasians. I didn't learn my history reading
A Hero of Our Times or Ivan Ilych, Hadji Murad and Other Stories, (thought they helped to clear my thoughts! gg)

Chakobsa, also known as the "Hunting Lanaguage" is the Frank
Language that was spoken among the Amirs, Khans, and rulers
of Caucasus from Alazan to Terek. It was not
unerstood by the common man. The commoners used Turco-Tatar
as frank language!

Again, pls. tell me the sources that show that Kabardians
built a fortress on the Sea of Azov, hundreds of Koilometers
away from their territory? They were subjects of Khans
of Khazan, and then they became nominal subjects of Muscovy
after the fall of Khazan. Morally they were subjects of Ghereis of Krim whcih subjected them to Osmanlis in Port!
