Ike, I understand that spreadsheets are complex for you. But, trust me, comparatively they are a child's play wrt trying, for example, to keep your globally distributed real time customer/sales/invntory databases up-to-date and synchronized. And a problem there can just drive a company out of business. So, you want to do that with an old x386 running Windows 3.1? Well, good luck to you. And good luck for us that you are not a CIO of an important company. Competition is everywhere. In tech land, on internet time, competition is even more fierce. And that is behind the rapid progress that we have witnessed lately. If you are scared by that, I guess you should buy/hold Coke at a PE of 40, even Buffett is not selling it. And, you would really like me to go away and not point out the completely ludicrous statements that are the norm in this thread, won't you? It's not going to happen, get used to it. -BGR.
