Word out of Buffalo is Juneau will sign with either the Sens, or the Caps for slightly north of 2 million. If the Sens cough that up, you know they have no intention of signing Yashin.
I don't blame the Sens for doing what they are doing - you sign a contract, you honor it!

Actually Oilers aren't playing too bad. A 2-1 loss to Dallas and 3-2 loss to St Louis shows there playing tough.
I saw St Louis's tying 2-2 goal. Salo's got deeked out bigtime. But I guess overall he's been playing pretty well.

Never know. Sather must see something. I'm not sure how he fits in though, his point production isn't very good. If he had shown it in the past I might agree but throughout his career he's posted minimal points.
Maybe it's leadership there looking for. I can't see it though. Oiler's aren't intimidated by good teams.
Most likely boils down to having little cash, "the price is right".
