Word out of Buffalo is Juneau will sign with either the Sens, or the Caps for slightly north of 2 million. If the Sens cough that up, you know they have no intention of signing Yashin. I don't blame the Sens for doing what they are doing - you sign a contract, you honor it!

Actually Oilers aren't playing too bad. A 2-1 loss to Dallas and 3-2 loss to St Louis shows there playing tough. I saw St Louis's tying 2-2 goal. Salo's got deeked out bigtime. But I guess overall he's been playing pretty well. <<Heard that Sather is talking to Ray Sheppard, the Oil need someone(anyone).>> Never know. Sather must see something. I'm not sure how he fits in though, his point production isn't very good. If he had shown it in the past I might agree but throughout his career he's posted minimal points. Maybe it's leadership there looking for. I can't see it though. Oiler's aren't intimidated by good teams. Most likely boils down to having little cash, "the price is right". mikey
