I'll second tekboy's advice. And if you don't have to fork over a month's salary to the phone company you can take your time--you'll need it. I've seen a few recent issues of Red Herring, and found them levelheaded for financial/tech press, understated even. Their write-up on Q was very favorable, but curiously low key.

<<Go back to post #1>>

But don't forget to check out moat's post #33,700 on "Q-Coming into Buy Range" and see his $225 price prediction. We be there.

Go back to Gregg Powers' post #27,130 on "Q-Coming into Buy Range" and see his Aril 15th analysis of Ericsson's "capitulation." Gregg makes clear Q's position to profit from 3G CDMA's global deployment.

Don't forget Mr. Fun's June 26th post #3,175 on this thread of all threads where he actually wrote in his own hand, and commented on wireless, "...wireless is poised to take off with introduction of 3G. It is already 4 times the size of Cisco's carrier addressed data equipment market..."

Mr. Fun where art thee now? Why, waiting for LU's sun to rise again at 0700 10/26/99.

this thread has taught me more than all the other research I've done put together

Ditto. I learn more about business here than all of my other sources combined.

On that note, I have almost finished reading all of the messages posted while I was away. To read all of them in one very long sitting (yep, I'm a confirmed addict) is like going to grad school. I've never been to grad school but it's one heck of a lot more powerful than undergrad school, so it must be like grad school. I feel like I'm getting a PhD in Gorilla Gaming.

This thread is nothing short of precedent-setting.

Thanks for the advice guys. The portfolio envy is dead-on,
as is the growing addiction (I'm already trying to find out
how I can get scrolling real time quotes on my screen while
I do other work).
