Wow. Are those normal side effects? Maybe you should ask the pharmacist in the morning.

Never heard of either one. Bioxin sounds like an antibiotic. Guaifen is??

I'm on vacation, and as usual I quickly become a nightowl.

THere must be a decongestant in there? edit--- just read that it is a decongestant-- I can't take them either. With sinus infections, when I really need to take one, I take it early in the morning and not at night or I come out of my skin.. Almost like a panic attack. Ants crawl around under my skin. I can't lie still.
The last one I had was actually pretty good- I'll see if I can find the name.
CW as a baby - a year old or so-had the same reaction with that common red stuff that all babies are given with colds-- after two nights of zero sleep, I finally called and the doctor said casually - oh, it's probably the decongestant. They should tell you this! I was furious. I had just spent 48 hours watching CW stand in front of the TV dancing to the music in the shows and conmmercials like a dervish. HE was the first dancing baby.

I HATE insurance companies. They get worse and worse. They cover nothing.

I had a doc write me guaifenesin tabs without the accursed pseudoephedrine (or phenylpropanolamine). Just guaifenesin is not a stimulant ... if anything it is faintly sedative. Not taht I I I would notice.
<edit> Guaifenesin is an "expectorant". It doesn't dry you up ... it sorta liquefies things so they don't make a clog. You can get straight guai without a prescription. Look at cough syrup labels. We have three different cough syrups - straight guai, straight dex, and "prescription". (not counting the evil cocktail in the "pediatric formula". That one makes Helen all mean.)
