G'day all - hi Ken, thanks for the CRN article. I would agree with the pros of the article, since I ve been saying similar things <G>. However, I think the critiques from Simtak and Dataquest require substantiation. Even if one has to disregard King's comment, one can look at historical precedence as well as pragmatic considerations to understand that it is to NT, and everyone else, advantage to keep CLFY an open system. Sure, NT may add *plug-ins* for connecting to periphronics softwares and NT call center gears, but that is when customers choose to purchase the latter. It simply makes no business sense to disallow interoperability. I am surprised the ones who raise the question are industry pundits, unless they ve a different agenda.
