Hmm, I never related my distaste for it to not liking excitement, but I think you're onto something. I like someone to make my heart going pitty-pat (because they are fine, not because they are a knife-weilding maniac) but other than that I don't care for it. I don't reckon I've ever seen anyone on a ledge. I went out for drinks after work the other night. The first two times I'd gone with this person we'd ended up in very loud, raucous places. I got nuts. Really beside myself and not happy. We found a boring place the other night. It was so cool. A very quiet little piano bar with a fireplace and we scored the table by the fire. The music was soft and even though there were lots of people, everyone was speaking softly, unlike in the usual bar, especially the sports bars around here. Dare I say it was a classy joint? It's the first time we've gone out that I didn't end up behaving like a neurotic wild-woman running for my lair from the loud, crazy world.
