Could you set emotions aside and detail your reasoning. I am interested in hearing relevant arguments regarding short term movements. I can understand that dilution would cause a stock price drop but that is generally only coupled with large volume of transactions. Shorting is a different matter. If the only sellers are those that are borrowing shares to sell, then that is an indication that millions of shares are being held and/or accumulated. Speaks well for the longer term unless the company folds which appears unlikely as the patents and tax loss carry-forwards have real value to larger, profitable acquirers. Of course, everyone could try to bail out if the price gets to 2 1/2 (for sake of argument) which would keep it around 2 for the short term.
