Jim,

I don't know from e-trade but schwab has had a bad week.

The server problems at SI and elsewhere have got me wondering if this anecdotedly indicates:
1. New Server adoption is running slower than adoption of the internet by the public - which would point to an forthcoming increase in the rate of server sales,
2. A greater than anticipated shortage of talented programmers to get the system to work smoothly

Any thoughts?

It looks like the postings here this weekend are down to the "old" guys, no age related reference intended.

Barry

Diamond, re >SI is starting to remind me of Etrade<g>.<

E-trade must have a new ad campaign. Today's snail mail
brought a package from E-trade with an offer to open an
account and a pair of boxer shorts with their logo on it.
I kid you not!
I'm trying to figure out if there is a subtle message.
"Use E-trade and get it in the shorts"?
or
"short E-trade"?
