Sorry guys for the interloping interruption. 99.99% of people I PM do not answer on the open thread. Only three did in nearly 3 years of my sojourn on SI..One was a fellow called PLUVIA, another was Alien Tech and the third was Tim Luke. Believe me I've seen more than one personal criticism on various threads but I've not answered. Pluvia's post was out of hand, extremely dergatory and sexist. This was in the beginning of August. And it hit me from nowhere as I never even heard of him. The second was Alien Tech where my only transgression was in daring to go on the thread where he soujourns and explain the anlysis of a particular stock, INFY which is answer was (You should take up graphic arts).. No big deal so I PM'ed him wondering why he was so vindictive as i thought we were friends. I also warned him about reprinting newsletters from for pay sights (copywrited) and criticizing them. It was a company called Chartpatterns and this can be confirmed. Again the pm was printed on the open site. The third time was Tim. I have been getting pm' from acquaintances tha he was instigating to all the threads that I enjoy a special relationship with SI. Sure I'm here all day and try and succeed not cussing, being beligerant, craving adulation, which i get from my loving family. I've had the occasional problem from a 'competitive' website but i've pleaded (SF so kindly collected a score of post to that effect) not to be drawn into a 'battle'. The insults turned very vicious and it did escalate. That has been fixed. But here again, i respect Anthony Pacific as colleague and professional who has the wherewithall to maintain for pay site, give good seminars and although his style is nothing like mine, its his trademark and that doesn't make him less of a savvy businessman, with a special flair for marketing. Then comes Tim Luke. Coming frm nowhere, with claims I am plastering my for pay site 'all over SI" when I rarely step off this thread, have never done nothing of the sort. All the while all I had was a link to thread on the cover introduction,put there by the Bradley brothers. Actually SI is 'splattered' across my website (not the thread ).. Jenna has .. this and Jenna gets that... Why can't he have his http//www.timluke.com link on his site. There were many posts following that chastised his whining. Not one was mine, nor did I even PM him. He got his timluke.com and explains how excellent it will be etc. etc. Then he is 'having talks with the management of SI' so threads like Jenna, Anthony Pacific and Tim can control and throw out anyone. By this time I was getting pm's that Tim was using my name me and i didn't feel his 'qualifications' were of a par to represent me in a 'problem' I didn't feel we had on the Market Gems thread. Who was I going to control? Nokomis, or O.J. or SF? Maybe Kha Vu, Brandy, Autumn Henry, Mogul? or Susan G?? or Teri? maybe keep Kendall from being so 'rowdy'.. or Lee with his witty humorous interludes? This is humorous granted. But if we have no strife then who needs control? My PM was simply to stop using me as an example and I did mention he fought so hard to get his link how come 2 months later he has done nothing. In my opinion anyone who start a public posts with the words.. X PM'ed me and so and so is acting immaturely, and will 'pick up his dukes' at any opportunity. If Tim Luke continues to attack his days on SI are numbered and I do not write SI bob. SI will do fine without him as they would do fine without jenna or Anthony Pacific or anyone. Tim did not bring even one regular to SI, There are people who sign up because they like the variety of threads and they can pick and choose once they get on. Jenna did not bring one customer to SI either. To think that is to be deluded with illusions of grandeur. To be perfectly honest I have seen very little of his thread related to stock talk at all. If someone likes Tim or Jenna they can lurk for free. Our thread has no leader, guru or Pied Piper. We are lucky to have a team of over 2 dozen regulars who make the thread what it is. There are about 1/2 dozen posters I could read, learn for hours and not get bored.. LG, Iqbal Latif, Eric, Donald Sew, Steve Harmon, Kimberly Lee, Dan Zimmerman etc. These are people very proficient in their fields. Kimberly Lee is one of the newest and if she went and made a 'for pay' site, I'd welcome her for her wisdom and acuity and not disparage her as a possible 'competitor'. Would someone pay money for her picks and analysis? I'd venture to say yes. For LG's picks yes again. Does Abbey Joseph Cohen launch a vendetta against Linda Raschke? True professional don't act like street fighters. For them I would probably pay an SI subscription. But even for them you don't have to pay, you could lurk. I'm sorry but for Tim Luke his 'followers' don't need to pay a subscription perhaps all the sum total of the threads i've mentioned combined might have helped a bit but never just one. I am no more responsible for the success of SI than Tim Luke or or Anthony Pacific
