I'm a MSDW customer and I wouldn't consider trust any information re: CSCO unless it came from CSCO itself. The only info MSDW gets from CSCO is from an analyst conference call and how's one supposed to gather an accurate picture of CSCO's balance sheet and whether or not they're going to definitively hit earnings from that. Now if MSDW handled CSCO's underwriting and assoc. business dealings vs. Bank of New York, who actually does now, I wouldn't be so skeptical about the info.

If I were a MSDW customer, which I am not, and if MSDW had some information contradicting the rumor, I would consider it their responsibility to let me know.
