Small fry- Lets cut through the pimple faced Canadian desktop dummy act and commence to soaking up a few facts.

I'll make this simple and in the form of rhetorical links. You needn't attempt a response. These are merely for your information.

The first is a news item regarding Fujitsu Seimens (bigger than all of Canada) and their use of "proprietary iron" Sparc core licensed from Sun, running Solaris as a wholesale replacement for their Intel strategy (now abandoned). You'll note that your "open iron" Intel doesn't license *their core to anybody.
