Speaking of LGTO and recalling from a hap-hazard memory, it did very well prior to the second quarter when most stocks were getting crunched. Then about three or four days prior to its 2nd quarter earnings release, it dropped like a rock down to around 30 from the low 40's. After earnings it made a slow climb back to a higher high.

The storage data stocks have done very well for most of the year.

Then we start getting the IPO's coming into the market and all of a sudden there seemed to be some rotation going on. The ascent of the stocks that did rather well prior to the IPO's and third quarter earnings took a back seat to those stocks with questionable fundamentals (as I understand them), but greater than anticipated revenue growth.

The market seems to be more about trends and less about actual good earnings these days. The same thing happened to VRSN. Went nowhere prior to the earnings, and on the day of the announcement, went down.

I suspect this trend will continue until a lot of people start to identify it, in which case the dynamics will change again. Then the trick again becomes identifying the new trend.

I sure feel sorry for whoever paid 270 for SCMR.
