LG, Thanks for your response<G>! You don't have too. The reason I brought it to your attention (and the thread's) is that last week the readings strongly indicated an up move (S&P 100 was 167 puts to 100 calls) and conversely, the readings are as bearish (contrarian indicator) on the CBOE that I have EVER seen. There are 3,600 calls versus 1,000 puts. a 30-100 is very bearish (as a contrarian indicator). Because of the extreme reading, I expect a down week. The S&P 100, however, is a bullish reading (125-100). Yet last week it was 167-100. So even there, it has pulled back in the direction of 'less bullish' for the markets. My prediction for the week (based on the above) is we will be down at some point at least 4% average on the indicies. We will see! Steve D. Ps. HB: Any thoughts?
