Actually the 486-100-133/586-100-133 (the peak of that architecture, just like the coppermine is the last gasp of the P6 core) benched favorably against the Pentium 60/66...but Intel changed processes and lowered voltages and along came the 90-100-133...etc. left the 4X86 generation chips in the dust.
Now Ten, you know the Athlon is due for a process change from .25 to .18....and a look in the rearview mirror!!! <G>
