Rick, I agree with your sentiment with respect to the stock's performance. However, I believe that there is an explanation other than Holaday. If you read the Yahoo thread around the time of the aaATIII Science article, it seems clear to me that there were a lot of
speculators who bought the stock knowing nothing about the company,
thinking it would zoom like ENMD when the article was published. There were a lot of shares sold to these folks those few days. I think we have to work through their loss-taking before a sustained uptrend can begin.

In other words, if in 3 months it is announced that the CEGE deal has been concluded the stock would rise even though that is not new news.
If they said at that time the melanoma trials are doing great, maybe we even add 3 points. But now, we have to get through the people who can't stand this "dog" of a stock.

What is the Id1/Id3 manuscript in Nature about? Can you provide a link?
