Just an opinion on the drop in number of posts. Two to three years ago, I was on this thing every night. I read for at least 2-3 hours trying to get opinions and facts. However, over the past year or so, the threads (not just SI) have become tools of manipulation. It is almost impossible to determine what is fact and what is fiction; what is rumor and what is a blatant attempt to move a stock, etc., etc....... You can notice the difference in the coverage on CNBC as well. Their reporting of misinformatoin has dramatically increased as this has become just a game to increase ratings. Investing sure has changed.
