goldsnow: Paying down SocialSecur.debt is another giant run at your wallet by Uncle Sam.
It has alreadyÿ been demonstrated that the National Debtÿ
can be paid off, naturally, just by freezing any spending increase for 10-15 years
( I think 10- 15ÿ is the number ) and allow
" new tax money " from new jobs , new people " to do the paying down.

Actual forking over additional moneysÿ ( translated: our tax Dollars ) to " pay down Soc. Secur."ÿ
will only give Billy and the highway robbery gang in Washington more moneys to spend according to
the classical tax and spend formulaÿ

:Money to pay down Soc Secur PLUS new spending money for Soc Secur = more money out of your wallet.

Formula also known for centuries asÿ
" sticking it to the taxpayer ".

BTW this simple " greasy hand in your wallet formula " is no longer taught in out High Schoolsÿ
which is why so many baby boomers have a hard time appreciating that
" a bird in hand " ( your tax dollars left in your pocket ),
" are worth 2 in the bush ", ( your tax dollar in Washington waiting for youÿ 40 years from now ),

Say No toÿ Billy,

TA

ÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿ I am going let you guess...Will we succeed?...Either way to outline the magnitude of the insolvable problems
ÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿ that would beset any nation at certain stage..

ÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿ President Bill Clinton
ÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿ offered details of a plan to pay down the federal debt by 2015
ÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿ and extend the life of the Social Security retirement system
ÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿ until 2050 ``This is the first big step toward truly
ÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿ saving Social Security.'ÿ

ÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿ PS To help you with the answer, can you name any Nation in history that sacrificed their standard of living for
ÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿ the sake of the new generation, never mind other society?
