New Mexico? What is so enticing about NM? Have you ever been there?
I was there for an extended visit some time ago. Was very glad to leave it.
Well I suppose to each his own.

Have you got relatives there?

Have a good evening
Shalom...><>

Nancy, Thanks for the greetings. I was born in Portland, Oregon. But I have lived in quite a few states. I consider California to be my home state because I grew up there and my mother, a sister and a few other relatives still live there. Also, my father got his one-way-ticket in 1973, and is buried there. I've also lived in Alaska, New Mexico, Massachusetts, new York and now Florida.

I also went to Disneyland quite a lot growing up. One of my sisters has worked for Disney in a management position for over 20 years. So when my kids were little, all we had to do was meet aunt Kathleen at the front gate, and we got in for free. She's now working on a 2 year job for Disney in Tokyo, Japan.

A lot of the places I have lived were because of the military. I lived in Albq. New Mexico, and although the city was nice, I felt quite isolated. You'll notice most of the other places I've lived have been close to an ocean. Mainly because my ex-husband was in the Navy.

I like Florida. It reminds me of California the most, so it didn't take long to feel at home here.

Did your husband find the golf courses?

My husband doesn't play golf. But there are quite a few of them for people who do. I think truedog was guessing and having a little fun. But since I consider him to be a very good friend, it's OK.

I'll give you my e-mail address. Because I've noticed that some people don't like clogging up the thread with personal stuff,(Which they don't have to read!) And sometimes I may have information I'd like to share with "Friends", but not everyone else on the Internet.

The Lord Bless you and your family, as well,

Colleen [colleen8753@yahoo.com]
