<<and I was leaning on the armrail admiring my work. The rail ripped clean out of the drywall and sent me clattering down the stairs. >>

How fortunate, now you have a new project for today.

You must have a heavy arm dude.

Do you want to order something from my cousins catalogue??

Oh by the way, do you paint? I am more than a little sick of painting. And I am not through.

Since you are unhurt, I feel I can make some nasty comments..
like, uhoh, times to get out of your little mailtruck and start walking?
I used to worry about that happening in our old house when the boys were toddlers after I discovered that half the railing wasn't even attached. It would have been a freefall two stories. I don't think builders are too terribly conscientious nowadays...get 'em up ASAP and move on.

What a luxury--- installing baseboards. We spend most of our time trying to keep the rain out and the heat in. Dan has gone to Phoenix to pitch in the WOrld Series again. Which means something major is sure to break.
