Agreed on solar panels, Robert. . .called a fad for the sake of argument. . . many thought they would be on top of every home and they are not. . . now some say that one day every home and small business could one day run on fuel cells. Without major backing, I doubt that will happen within the next several decades. . .however. . . . Plug Power DOES have the power to make that happen. . .depending on the manufacturing costs of the fuel cells. . . .if they stay extremely high, it will never happen, but if they can lower the cost and go for volume, then we could have a winner long-termer on our hands.

Not looking at PLUG as a swing play at all. . . strictly long term.

As for the table scraps. . . lets hope that the brokers ignore PLUG and consider it table scraps, so that we average investors can grab us some, too. Informed investors are the target market for such an issue.

But as we have seen too often. . .it is hype . . like Martha Stewart and WWF that launch an IPO into the ionosphere. And what does it say about Americans, should the Martha Stewart and WWF sites live up to their expectations? <g>
