Hey, believe me the 2 companies/products/technologies can co-exist. I've been in the router business since '91. Both of these outfits will do well despite their high valuations, as long as they grow their customer base. It's just that the appetite for these stocks is very high and we will see some euphoria and carnage along the way. I expect no smooth ride. When I bought CSCO in '92 I did it on a 'vision'. I was with IBM at the time and had grown intolerant of older technology. Just don't bet the farm! Don't viloate your comfort level too much.
