What's with the "ferret" references? I guess I missed something but why the personal insults? Maria's style may not appeal to you but she's still got a big following. CNBC reporters are quite good as a group and, sure, some may be annoying at times but aren't we all? (Just ask my wife! :))The cable station provides a valuable service and, for the most part, has a conscientious group of experienced professionals working the Street. On air reporting, unscripted, with trading floor distractions is a hundred times more difficult than studio teleprompter work. It's really not necessary to be at the NYSE but it adds flavor and excitment and works visually which is also important for ratings. It's fine to criticize but, IMO, without the vindictiveness would be more effective! Maria can get a touch strident at times but that comes with the high strung territory of "beat" reporting from the Exchange. I think she really is smart and knows her job well. Happy investing to all!
