The correlation between total number of auction items and
real revenues from EBAY's historical data:

(1) In Q2/99:
Increase of auction items: 0.39m (from 1.87m to 2.26m)
Increase of revenues: 15.5m (45% sequential gain)

(2) In Q1/99:
Increase of auction items: 0.67m (from 1.20m to 1.87m)
Increase of revenues: 14.5m (74% sequential gain)

How about Q3/99:
Increase of auction items: 0.74m (from 2.26m to 3m)
Increase of revenues (excluding new entities): ?

From purely judging from above table, it's likely that EBAY will
achieve 45% (minimum) in line with Q2's sequential growth.

The above was selected from Yahoo board. Any comments?
