Lynn, I suspect that NTAP's rise on Friday is related to its fall on Thursday. The Thursday slump was a result of EMC's discussion of a NAS solution in their future. I believe many realized later that EMC's discussion was empty of any substance, dates, specs, etc.

BWDIK?

lynn.

you're very welcome. regarding friday's action, if you hear anything interesting from your broker, i'm sure we'd all like the word too ...

regarding INKT, the drop was apparently due to a larger than expected loss and a subsequent downgrade by ML. this is just a guess, but NTAP could be experiencing some hype from the impending akamai IPO. (NTAP and AKAM have a partnership.)

fwiw, someone on yahoo! floated the rumor that NTAP was just picked up by none other than Carlton Lutts and his Cabot Market Letter.
