Thanks. Now that you mention it, I do remember that part now-that is what I get for listening to it while reading posts on SI at the same time <g>... Still, this is an interesting issue for Juniper and makes their investment in an optical networking sub of MRVC recently even more timely....

While respecting Tom Nolle knowledge of the market, I am following him lately quite closely. He seems to get very contradictory views. This one about lambda is one of them.
Why? could it be that he has different messages to different clients?
