Mike, is it too late to short INKT-y-pooh?

Got clobbered on a downgrade. Folks seem to be figuring out that there's no big monopoly on web caching ... but with these 'net stocks the realist and his money are soon parted. <g>

Michael, re. Gateway and puts, etc ...

Given the impossibility of knowing just how long they can continue to sleaze their way through, I'm wondering if it would be a worthwhile strategy for someone who has less reason (me, for instance ;-) to trust their gut instinct to just go for it now -- cheap puts, fairly far out -- and wait?

For instance, the Mar 37.5's are 3/4 asked. If the stock were to revisit it's 52 week low, that would be a seventeen-bagger or so. If the stock hasn't blown up by March, just do it again, and get an eight-bagger with Aug puts, etc, until it does blow up. The risk, I suppose, is that the stock never does, it just slowly bleeds to death ...

Regards,
Terry
