Colleen, the conflict is over, as far as I am concerned, and the council from shalom convinced me that it was to my, and the thread's, best interest to let it lie.

Well, here goes the list. I was born in Kansas but left there at 15 mos. old to be taken to Denver. After Pearl Harbor, we moved to Houston, in 55, we moved to Brenham(75 miles NW of Houston). When we sold our family business I had some insignificant reasons to go to Santa Fe for 2 mos.,from there to the San Fernando valley of LA county for 5 years. When the gold played out there, I went to Carson City and Reno, NV for a year, then to Tallequah,Ok (amid the Cherokee Nation) for a year, then to Branson,Mo. for a year and a half. Then, my mother became ill in Salina, KS (where we moved from many years ago) for a couple of years. When the Alzheimer's really began to set in, I had to move her somewhere there were adequate facilities for this disease and, since Bev and I had just recontacted each other, I chose Houston (actually NW Harris Cty.) and moved back here. As far as just traveling without setting up residence, the list would get too long for this post. The way things are now, I am probably settled for the rest of my life. Couldn't do much if I went anywhere anyway.

God Bless,
