It was a great place when Jack was there, because when you had a problem you could go talk to Jack and he kicked someone's a** for it. Now that Jack has moved on to Cayman, it is not possible to get to him to talk. Now, as far as I can tell Waterhouse in general (not just Jack White) does not have an accounting system, they are ripping poeple off on commissions ("oh, we made a mistake on that guaranteed $12 trade and charged you $29.95. We will adjust that on next months bill") by overcharging everyone and then letting those that yell get the real advertised commisions. The people in New York are arrogant, old world bankers who really think all these little people out here making money on the net are stupid creatures they have to put up wiht while they take their money. They changed everything and made alot of enemies. My hope is that the NYSE seizes them soon. Would be fitting. I went to Schwab and got the Platinum service. It is ok for now.
