OT> Hi Tim.

RE: Message 11688313

A job is a job is a job. My senior year of high school, one of the days me and about four friends played hooky, just hung out at one's house smoking opium and on (can't remember the channel) the tube we watched a special that grafficly showed exactly what you discribed. I stopped eating red meat very shortly after that.

And before my freshman year of college was done I was a junkaterian(I think that's the first step for a lot of vegies). Living on french fries doretos, cheetos, and sorted canned vegie soups.

One thing you did forget to mention. You said all the cows knew their fate as they heard the cries of the others. But what you failed to mention is that it pumps their addrelin(sp) and that pushes all the chemicals and hormones they have been feed into their meat. Thus, when people consume meat that is slaughtered in the manner you speak of, they are basically eating the same drugs and crap they are fed to, well, beef them up. Don't know what you guys fed them. I'm sure it wasn't as bad as it is these days.

Now, anyone want to discuss the life of a calf that is raised for veal?????????????????

P.S. I don't have any bad vibes towards people who eat meat. basically we are born with free will. and if people want to eat meat, that is their right. Though I will say it is definitely NOT necessary to sustain life. havve a good day.
