4$ support was pre-Real Networks, when Global was a no more than an Independent artist website and a Metcalf wet dream. Since then they've openned a storefront and signed a contract with Real Networks. The Real Networks deal sent the stock to 13+. Details weren't known then, but the Global Player gets updated automatically with any Real Networks update for up to 5 years. The stock sold off in part because a NASDAQ listing didn't occur as shareholders had anticipated, and because of a general sell-off of Internet stocks. Since then it has bottomed out at 5 1/2 on three separate occasions and has always recovered. Also, Global will be qualifying for the NASDAQ National Market, which insures a 5 bottom.
