The test flare at ELH was first observed this morning. They seem to be adjusting the flow rate as the flame size varies between 15-30'. There is very little smoke coming off the flame end and the color is a consistent light orange. From the sound of things, (jet engine), the pressure appears to be high.

Looks like the weenie roast is on for tonight!!

Reports from CC is that they have encountered more drilling breaks where the rate has increased to 10/15'per hour. During the breaks the background gas has increased significantly.

I guess between the flare at ELH and the action at CC, you'll be going up and down that Lost Hills highway like the roadrunner. Can we chip in for a new set of tires??<ggg>
