LHG... Correct me if I'm wrong please...On a job of this size the company that conducted the perf should have provided a logging unit to accompany it, in addition to the one the operators of the well (BKP) should have supplied... I know we used to follow that type of procedure on major fracs...

Long after our job was completed the logging units would stay behind, for days on end sometimes, monitoring the well and the reason for mutiple units was to confirm each others readings...

LHG, here is a little something to perhaps entice you into having Champagne with your weenies.

...but first, a note to those "conspiracy theorists" out there.
The following is not hype, it is not intended to pump the stocks, and in no way is it fabricated. I am simply passing along information that has been made known to me, sharing my excitement with my thread buddies.

I just got home from a week long trip and have some very exciting news.
At Cal Canal, they are drilling ahead with a PDC bit, south of 14,900 feet, at 10-20 feet/hr.
Background gas readings are 40-60 units with multiple gas readings over 2000 units!
Along with this, they have good oil shows in the samples.
They have not yet hit the porous sand that we are all waiting for.

I know from experience that most likely if there was water present, oil shows would be spotty. This does not appear to be the case.
Needless to say, I am quivering with anticipation.

Sleepless in Calgary.
