So what's next? 10/23/99 9:04:03 PM

On July 4th, I posted an opinion(guess) that MSFT could/would be a logical choice for a takeover of ANC. Recent developments would appear to place ANC in such a position that a takeover is not only likely, but could very well be just around the corner. Depending on ongoing developments regarding the Trifox decision ("$5 million), is it possible that ANC could eventually have a controlling interest in, or perhaps even own, this reportedly profitable software company?

I do happen to agree that a form of manipulation is taking place with this stock. However, it is nothing out of the normal. Some parties, IMO, are running a boxtop on this stock. That's pretty evident. But, at the same time, there does not appear to be any buying interest/pressure on the stock. This suggests to me that players have established their initial positions in the stock and are now awaiting certain further developments before making their next move. In other words, not all the i's have been dotted nor have all the t's been crossed.

Hell, with all this company has going for it at a market cap of only $8.7 Million, I'd expect that there would be more than a few companies burning the midnight oil working on their abaci slabs.

Further, with regards to the countdown by the DM e-zine?, it is my opinion that the final results are already known to others than the publishers.

I happen to favour mining companies (pun intended) Right now, this one is right at the top of my list.

Not discounting next week, the first week of November should be very telling, so to speak.
