Stew, Thanks. I guess the answer is that If Gemstar really turns out to be a Gorrila, there will be plenty of time for me to make an investment after the smoke from the merger clears.

GMST call options activity was way up on Friday. For example, prior to Friday there were 3277 Nov. 70 options open. On Friday alone 2834 traded. The Nov. 75s and 80s were also active. Sometimes a spike in option trades means something is about to happen. Sometimes not. Might be worth watching.
