Thanks for the response. Very well reasoned. I was just surprised at the timing because I thought all the P&F indicators were still in bull territory at that time.

You'll get no argument from me on your fundamental analyses.

Respected institutions is an oxymoron.

Your problem was that you didn't realize you sell upgrades (like those who are doing the upgrading are doing) and buy the downgrades (like those who are doing the downgrading are doing). Do you really think these boneheads are paid 7 figures to give out timely buy and sell recs to the public gratice?

Upgrades are ONLY done for two reasons:

To facilitate the equity or debt offering and m & a (get the investment banking business) for the company.

Or

To create a rally to sell to lemmings (no offense meant)!
