Vegas was a wonderful time. The weather there(um, I did manage to cathc some real oxygen) was terrific also, in the low 80s. As far as the tournament, I failed miserably in the first round. The person I lost to didn't win, I lost. I basically gave it away in the last five hands(each round of play has 6 players and we are dealt 50 hands all start with a $600 buy in can bet from 5-300 per hand). I was up most of the play, but when the cards turn cold on me I didn't reduce my bets. I play tournaments much different than I do during regular play, you're basically still trying to beat the dealer, but competing with the others for most money at the end of the 50 hands. Bad memory there, so I won't discuss it further. However; that was only a mere fraction of the trip. as for regular play, I did well, quite well. My dearest wife is happy, we can continue to buy diapers(I'd be cleaning the cloth ones if I didn't<g>). I met a fellow SIer ect. , and his gal. that was fun also. You never know how real life meetings with cyber friends will go. It felt like meeting an old high school friend As far as heading out in November, #reply-11689341. But aren't rules made to be broken? Not looking good at this point. I'm likely going to be in Atlanta on the the fourth, than I have to be in Pittsburgh on the fifth and return home on the sixth. that doesn't leave me much time here before the venture to Vegas. I will still do my best to make it. what are the dates again? P.s> as far as selecting some regional wine for Joe, perhaps a can of Welch's may be more appropriate<g>, but I'd be more than happy to attempt to find something with you.
