In fact, the DID make up new benchmarks -- the SPEC scores used a brand new Intel compiler which, no doubt, recognized the SPEC source code and substituted hand optimized CuMine assembly code.

Media bench is also an Intel invention.

To beat Athlon in standard applications, they have to run the CuMine on non-existent motherboards using non-existent memory.
