AOL has T over a barrel and T will capitulate.

SOUNDVIEW TECHNOLOGY GROUP ANALYST KRIS TUTTLE
America Online (AOL)
(October 21) Tuttle compares AOL and Yahoo!, in terms of strategic risk and
margin potential. He evaluates AOL's multi-brand strategy, including its
Compuserve brand and the Gateway.net service just announced. Tuttle
provides a basis for his belief that consumers are not responding to the
content offering of Excite@Home, and that therefore AOL will become
increasingly attractive to AT&T as an alliance partner.

I have reduced my watch time of cnbc and in the early morning, prefer to watch Bloomberg. They give more info running across the bottom of the screen without listening to all the crap. As we get more experience in the market and with si posters, cnbc seems to more useful for breaking (hard) news than interviews etc. It was great with folks less experienced but on the other hand reporting rumors without checking and almost at closing is not in the best interest of their public. imo.
