O, infidel, thou hast simply to haveth faitheth and all will become cleareth.

I confess, these matters are not exactly cleareth to me, either. I think, though, that what comfort the God-concept offers (and it is about comfort for those who need it, and power or status for those who see in institutionalized religion a way to power or status, and is not, by any means, about clarity) is not to be found in sensible replies to your queries, but rather in those immortal and somehow soothing, though not all that soothing, words, que sera, sera.

I'm going to bed now, though, and no doubt after a good night's sleep, I will have resolved the paradoxes you raise. When I do, I will PM you immediately.

'Night, all.

the believers out there
or
believers in what ?

Public prayers for sex ?
Sex during earthquakes ?

Perhaps God enjoys a good hurricane as much as the next guy, did you ever think of that ?

Sure, God created disasters. It's given you something to talk about. See, he cares about you after all.
