Richard, as you know I am long and will remain so because I believe in the ultimate success of the Rambus/Intel duopoly. <g>. However, I am not sure that tomorrow will generate much of a bounce in the share price. I think a lot of the Carmel news was priced in beginning Thursday afternoon. We went from about 62 to 79 during that period, then eased off. Of course, I hope I am wrong.

Having said all that, I am extremely impressed by the manner in which this rollout is being handled. If you spend an hour or so moving around the sites, both formal and informal, covering Coppermine/Carmel you cannot find ONE negative. Not a negative on performance, on price, on quality, on application support, on stability. This is kind of remarkable. A lot of spadework has been done over the past few weeks to make sure this all came together with a bang. Very impressive...even the usual critics are either silent or complimentary.

So, while I do not expect a pop up tomorrow of any great size, I do think the roadmap is much clearer. It will be fun to talk about sales revenues in the months ahead...both for PCs and for Playstation. Beats debating if the technology will ever hit the market.
