OT - I think most great organizations are built on average to above average performers that are in there bustin it year in year out. Rose is more than numbers, he is the embodiment of the everyman, including all his foibles and that is why the fans love him. The guy is the all time hit leader - that ain't bupkis! Tonight the yankees tied up the game in the eighth inning, Paul O'Neil comes to bat with no outs and a man on first, bunts it in the air to the first baseman and hangs his head and walks off the field, while the first baseman lets it drop, throws to 2nd and then doubles up O'Neil. Charlie Hustle would have never been doubled up like this. Give me 9 charlie hustle's and 9 primma donnas, who wins? bb
