Captain,

Know this is a late response to your comment, but couldn't pass it up. You keep comparing CPQ to Commodore. Commodore never came close to the company CPQ is. I'm not certain why Commodore faded away, but maybe it's because it missed the IBM PC Clone wave that CPQ was smart enough to cash in on. Also, I think that CPQ has already seen the next wave, which is not personal PCs (some even say that there will not even be personal PCs in the next 10 years), but the internet, the server and service market.
