Tech Advisory: Ten Internet Stocks that will Revolutionize the World (QCOM)
Monday, October 25, 1999

October 25, 1999 -- Momentum investor Donald Rowe is waiting for today's correcting market to squeeze the excess from current Internet stock prices. Rowe plans to issue a buy signal in late November or December, after which he foresees "the greatest investment opportunity of all time" for those who invest in the right Internet stocks. He just issued a list of 10 handpicked Internet stocks for investors to get ready to buy on his signal.
One of Rowe's picks is Qualcomm (QCOM). The firm is the leading provider of Code Division Multiple Access (CDMA) wireless technology. CDMA recently gained acceptance as the top industry standard and is now the world's fastest-growing wireless technology, Rowe says. Qualcomm leads the industry with its High Data Rate (HDR) wireless technology, which offers 2.4 Mbps Internet access in a standard 1.25 Mhz channel bandwidth. The firm also publishes the ubiquitous Eudora email software application, leads the industry with its High Data Rate (HRD) and runs OmniTracs, the world's largest wireless data application

Qualcomm is earning a place in the sun. It just earned spots in the S&P 500 index and in Fortune's lists of the "100 Fastest Growing Companies" and the "100 Best Companies to Work for in America." Earnings at Qualcomm grew 341% and 215% for each of the last two quarters, and the stock rocketed from below $15 to today's $215 in the past 12 months.

For more on Donald Rowe's advice see "Ten Internet Companies that will Revolutionize the World," November 1999, The Wall Street Digest. Momentum investor Donald Rowe's five-step approach targets stocks and mutual funds capable of generating 26+% annual returns to quadruple an investor's wealth by 2004. Rowe looks for relative-strength leaders with rapidly growing earnings in the strongest sectors whose securities are selling near their 52-week highs.
